“Why C.A.R.E?”: I am drawn to addiction medicine because it demands that we see patients as a whole, integrating their medical conditions and lived experiences. I am dedicated to delivering trauma-informed care and serving patients who have felt dismissed by the healthcare system. I chose the C.A.R.E. Fellowship for its emphasis on comprehensive, patient-centered care that aligns closely with these values.
